Today I had the privilege of shooting pictures that artist Bob And Roberta Smith had painted for the Remain Campaign.
On Saturday 18th of June I hitched a ride on the Convoy to Calais with to fantastic volunteers in their Mini. We left Whitehall for Dover in a string of 250 vehicles but were prevented from boarding the ferry in Dover, the French Frontier police sighting security fears for the ban. The convoy then returned to London and left a sample of aid on the steps of the French embassy for them to deliver. It is a disgrace that aid should have been prevented from reaching the camps in Pas de Calais.
On Tuesday I shot a cover for a new single for a EHJ Records – a subsidiary of The Alexa Trust – with Bethany (model), Suzanna (makeup) and Esmari (singer). I had wanted to shoot a ‘beauty’ image with movement for some time. Alas I can’t reveal the real image but here is one that I shot on set for myself with the lighting of the finished image.
